Good Soil Lutheran Ministries

Who We Are

You may be wondering, ‘Why is it called Good Soil?’ Great question. Our name is grounded in the Parable of the Sower* in prayerful hope that our ministry offers good soil: a safe and vibrant place to hear the Word of God, be nourished in community, and grow in faith and love for God and all of God’s people and creation. Good Soil is a community of folks who gather to explore their faith and wrestle with what it means for their lives and for the world, from the neighborhood to the global community. Come grow with us!

*The Parable of the Sower is a story told by Jesus about the extravagant and unconditional love of God. It appears 3 times in the Bible: Matthew 13:1-9, Mark 4:1-9, and Luke 8:4-8.

WORSHIP SCHEDULE

Because of the high temperatures this week (and no A/C at Good Soil), we will be worshiping with our siblings in Christ at Bethesda on the Bay on Sunday, July 5th. Thank you for your hospitality and generosity, Bethesda!
